This course demystifies the full contractor workflow—from preconstruction planning and estimating to jobsite execution and closeout. You’ll practice reading plans, scoping and quantity takeoffs, writing clear proposals, scheduling with critical path methods, and managing procurement and subcontractors. We’ll also cover contract fundamentals, liens and insurance, safety and OSHA basics, building codes, permits, inspections, quality control, and documentation.

Expect hands-on tools you can use on Monday: bid checklists, change-order logs, RFI templates, pay application and cash-flow trackers, and client communication scripts.
